Experience has shown that strong governments include and seek input from a diverse spectrum of residents. It is only through this method that we can ensure the strongest outcome.
- Fiscal responsibility:To achieve a sound economic future, we need long-term planning to sustain desired services and generate the means to pay for them in the future. We can do this only by eliminating waste and engaging in smart spending — spending the Township’s money as if it were our own.
- Proactive leadership: Effective leaders have a sense of urgency with a focus on the future. We must proactively confront issues such as traffic congestion, deteriorating infrastructure, and the lack of green technology.
